Tesla, the US electric car manufacturer, unveiled its Cyber Truck light electric vehicle at a ceremony in California.

The presentation of the new car, which included live demonstrations to test the car's endurance, witnessed an awkward situation that amounts to a scandal.

The scandal costed Tesla's founder, Elon Musk, a financial loss of $768 million in one day, after the company's shares fell about 6%, according to Sky News Arabia.

Despite the negative reactions to the new truck, the American company received within a few days according to the site "TechCrunch" hundreds of orders. Elon Musk said that about 41% of the purchase orders were for the highest-priced version with three engines, with the proportion of those who want to buy the two-engine version of 42% of the total orders, while the single-engine version received only 17%.

It is noteworthy that the new car made of steel will enter production in late 2022 and will be sold at prices starting, according to "Bloomberg" news from $39,900 which is QR 146,000. And up to $69,000, which is QR 252,000.
