Bentley has revealed a true one-of-one: the Continental GTC Azure Mulliner Qatar Edition, a bespoke commission inspired by the fleeting beauty of a Gulf sunset. Created by Bentley’s in-house personalisation division, Mulliner, this unique convertible is less about excess and more about atmosphere — colour, light, and place.
At its core, the Azure specification already represents the most comfort-focused expression of the Continental GTC range, positioned above the standard GTC and below the Speed. That balance of refinement and usability makes it a natural canvas for a location-specific commission like this.
Exterior:
The defining feature is the bespoke Desert Sand paint finish. Under harsh daylight, it reads as calm and neutral, almost blending into the surrounding landscape. As the sun drops, however, the colour warms noticeably, echoing the golden tones of the Gulf at dusk.
Gold-finished wheels and bright exterior detailing give the car an almost monochrome presence, subtly broken up by darker elements — including piano black accents at the rear and Bentley’s imposing grille up front. Discreet Qatar Edition badging on the fender flares confirms that this is not a standard configuration, but a singular commission.
Interior:
Inside, Mulliner takes a non-traditional approach. The cabin features plaid cloth detailing and bespoke embroidery, cleverly tapered to mirror the way the sky lightens toward the horizon at sunset. It’s a quiet design decision, but one that reinforces the car’s central theme: transition from heat to calm, day to evening.
The Azure specification brings with it comfort-focused seats designed for long-distance cruising, enhanced insulation for heat management, and Bentley’s multi-layer fabric roof. During the day, it shields occupants from the desert sun. As temperatures ease in the evening, the roof can be lowered to fully experience the changing light and air — precisely the moment this car is designed to exist in.

Powertrain:
Beneath the surface, the Qatar Edition uses Bentley’s 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 hybrid setup, delivering:
It’s performance delivered smoothly, in keeping with the Azure’s character. This is not a Speed model chasing numbers; it’s a luxury grand tourer tuned for effortlessness, refinement, and adaptability to real-world conditions.

This one-off Qatar Edition also fits neatly into Mulliner’s recent trajectory. Over the past year, the division has delivered a series of high-profile bespoke projects — from art-inspired collections and region-specific commissions to the Ombré paint finish revealed at The Quail, expanded interior material options, and animated welcome lamps.
Seen in that wider context, the Continental GTC Azure Mulliner Qatar Edition isn’t decorative excess. It’s a precise application of Bentley’s comfort-focused flagship convertible, filtered through Mulliner’s current bespoke capabilities and tailored to a specific place — and a specific time of day.
