Surveillance cameras in a British house have caught a thief stealing a Mercedes C-Class in less than 20 seconds. The camera records that he used a wireless device that helped him stealing the car.
Mercedes C-Class is known as a keyless operated car. The thief took advantage of this feature to steal the car remotely as well. So, he used a wireless device that helped him pick up the signal from the car key and copy it. Making the thief able to use that signal to open the doors and then the mission accomplished.
Therefore, it is recommended for those who have this type of cars to ensure that they double click the lock button, or they can put the keys in a metal box, which in turn deactivate the key.
Now do you still think that this is a special feature in cars and you want to buy a keyless car?
