Watch: Harley-Davidson Unveils $30,000 First Electric Motorcycle

Harley-Davidson, the American Leading Motorcycle Company, has showed off its first ever-electric motorcycle "LiveWire", which is recognized as a significant shift for the unique American brand. Especially as there are many companies seeking to explore electronic motorcycles.

Harley-Davidson has unveiled the 100% power generation of LiveWire as soon as you rotate the throttle. This will enable the motorcycle to accelerate from 0 to 60mph in less than 3.5 seconds, which will ease the new passengers driving due to its lack of gears and clutch.

It's worth mentioning that LiveWire's $ 29,799 production is announced four years later after Harley-Davidson, the first major manufacturer, launching electric motorcycle.

LiveWire motorcycle can hit a top speed of around 110 miles per hour and achieves a range of 110 miles of urban driving on a full charge of the Panasonic battery. Regenerative braking will charge the battery when the bike slows down. The new Harley electric motorcycle battery is characterized by the "Live Wire" lithium-cell technology.

LiveWire motorcycle is equipped with HD connection, which will communicate with a smart phone application via a built-in 4G LTE connection that helps riders access everything from remote status checking. In addition to battery charging and achievement time, flight planning, theft notification, Webmasters and maintenance reminders.

Harley-Davidson has partnered with Samsung SDI Co, a South Korean technology giant specializing in batteries and power generators manufacture, which is one of Samsung's parent companies.
