XPENG is now officially entering Qatar. In September 2024, XPENG signed a partnership with Almana Group (via its subsidiary Pioneer Motors) to become the exclusive distributor of XPENG in Qatar.
In late 2025, XPENG’s entry was publicly confirmed in Qatar, marking its launch into Qatar’s “smart mobility landscape. The launch aligns with XPENG’s broader Middle East expansion, including other Gulf countries.
So — as of now, XPENG is not a “maybe to come”: it’s already in Qatar (or in the process of debut), backed by a major local automotive group.
Which XPENG Models are Expected / Available in Qatar
As part of the official launch, XPENG (via Almana/Pioneer Motors) is expected to bring the following models to the Qatari market:

XPENG G6
As an SUV with “coupe-SUV” styling, G6 fits well with Gulf buyer preferences (SUVs, comfort, size). Its presence in other GCC markets reduces the risk of parts-service issues (though local support still must build up).

XPENG G9
For customers seeking a premium EV experience — large SUV, luxury cabin, high-tech features — G9 represents XPENG’s top-tier offering. It might attract buyers looking to move beyond conventional SUVs towards smart electric mobility.

XPENG P7+ (sedan / liftback) — or the planned sedan for Qatar
For urban or suburban drivers who prefer a sedan (vs. bulky SUV), P7+ offers a smart, efficient, and high-tech EV alternative. Could appeal to professionals, families, or fleet operators looking for EV sedans rather than SUVs.
The partnership for Qatar was announced in Sept 2024, and by Nov 2025, XPENG’s presence was formalized — so XPENG’s rollout in Qatar is “live.”
According to local Qatari car-market data, at the moment only G6 is explicitly listed under XPENG’s available models in Qatar. More advanced models (G9, P7+), while officially announced as “coming,” may still be in early distribution or awaiting deliveries.
Spare-parts and after-sales infrastructure may still be limited (given XPENG’s very recent entry), so early buyers should factor in potential delays or limited availability.
